Morgan Rugby, originally Morgan Academy Former Pupils' Rugby Club (MAFPRC) was founded in 1933 and became a full member of the SRU in 1956.

Morgan have always been active in encouraging youngsters into the game, and currently support rugby in primary and secondary schools, an under 16's team and a Colts teamMorgan also fields a Firsts team, a 2nd 15, and when possible, a 3rd 15.  At the start of season 2007/08, Morgan Rugby was delighted to add a women’s team to the teams playing under the banner of Morgan Rugby.

The 1st 15 has had great success in recent seasons, winning promotion in consecutive seasons, from National Divisions 5, 4, 3 and 2 and at the end of season 2006/07, the First's had achieved their fifth successful promotion, earning the right to make the big step up from the National Leagues to Premier 3 where the opposition is seriously tough, but where Morgan are fitting in and competing well.

As well as winning National Division 2 in season 2005/06, the team won the BT Bowl at Murrayfield, and won the SRU Club of the Month Award in February 2006.  In May 2007, after a series of tough qualifying matches, Morgan won their second National Bowl final at Murrayfield, the only team in any of the National competitions ever to successfully defend their title in consecutive seasons.  So it can be seen that Morgan Rugby has a track record of success with which sponsors and supporters can be proud to be associated.  First team games at Forfar Road generally attract 150-200 spectators - as many as any club any club in Premier 3, and more than most.  Morgan's recently established women’s rugby team, the only one in Dundee outside the Universities, won promotion from the Development league to the National Leagues in their first season in existence. They also won through to the national final of the SRU's Womens' Championship at Murrayfield in 2008. A great achievement which promises more for the future!
