A Brief History Of Morgan Academy Former Pupils Rugby Football Club

The inauguration Meeting of the Club was held in Morgan Academy on Monday 18^th September 1933 at 7.15p.m.  Dr Leighton, school rector was chairman.

The annual subscription was :- Seniors -15 shillings (75 pence) and Juniors (under 19) - 10 shillings (50 pence).

A further meeting was held on Friday 6^th October 1933 to establish a Club 2^nd XV.

The Club lapsed during the years of the Second World War (1939-1945) and re-established itself for season 1945-46 and became a full member Club of the SRU in 1956.
